Description
The client is a centralized procurement agency that was formed in 2020 that will enable a whole-of government approach to purchasing goods and services. At the client, we believe that modernizing procurement is a key driver of success for OPS. Our mandate is to strengthen supply chain management and procurement across the public sector, ensuring that Ontario ministries, provincial agencies, hospitals, school boards, children's aid societies and more have access to high-quality, timely, reliable products at the best value.
As we continue building the agency, we are looking for Fee-for-Service (FFS) resources to help support the delivery and implementation of various technical projects that will enable the organization to enhance its information security practices and successfully execute on its mandate.
Project Overview
The client is launching strategic initiatives to enhance our digital infrastructure and compliance posture. The Senior Project Manager will lead the delivery of technical and process-driven solutions, ensuring alignment with regulatory mandates, operational needs, and enterprise risk management strategies. This role will focus on Identity & Access Management (IAM), including planning, executing, and optimizing identity lifecycle management and privileged access strategies. It will also involve Information Management, where the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for implementing governance and architecture that ensures secure and efficient data classification, retention, and access. Additionally, the role will require ensuring compliance with frameworks such as NIST, ISO, CIS, and other industry standards, while meeting public sector-specific legal and regulatory obligations. Furthermore, the Senior Project Manager will oversee technical rollouts, managing the deployment of enterprise security tools and platforms to ensure minimal disruption and full integration across teams.
